As an endeavor to accelerate international research in the field of Islamic banking, the Islamic Banking Study Program conducted an International Joint Research with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Branch of Pinang Island, Malaysia. This endeavor commenced with a visit by the Islamic Banking Study Program to UiTM on October 23, 2023, specifically at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies UiTM. We were warmly welcomed by Dr. Roshaimizam Suhaimi, the Head of the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies UiTM, several lecturers, and other administrative staff.

In addition to Dr. Ruspita Rani Pertiwi, S.Psi., MM (Head of Program) and Jauhar Faradis, SHI, MM (Deputy Head of Program), this visit was also attended by lecturers from the Islamic Banking Study Program, consisting of two research groups (Marketing Management and Human Resource Management). The initial agenda included in-depth research discussions with each research group. These discussions led to consensus on the joint research framework, variables to be examined, research models, and the questionnaire designs that had been prearranged by each research group.
