HMPS-PS Holds International Islamic Banking Development Event: Featuring Three Speakers from Taiwan

Studying abroad is a step to explore potential and gain broader experiences. It is no wonder that many institutions hold sharing sessions related to studying abroad, including the International Islamic Banking Development event organized by the Student Association of Islamic Banking Study Program (HMPS-PS) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
The event was held online via a Zoom meeting and featured 3 speakers from Taiwan. The three speakers were Graziella Kimberly (a student at National Cheng Kung University Tainan), Jordan Yap (a student at National Formosa University Yunlin), and Elza Al Hadini R (a student at Ming Chuan University Taipei). They are international students actively involved in the Indonesian Student Association in Taiwan (PERPITA).
The event was attended by the dean’s office, represented by Vice Dean 3 Mr. Ahmad Salehudin, and the Head of the Islamic Banking Study Program, Mrs. Rusipita Rani Pertiwi. During her address, Mrs. Rusipita expressed her gratitude to the 3 speakers for their collaboration with HMPS-PS, offering a valuable platform for gathering information about studying abroad.
The event was highly interactive and featured a Q&A session, during which many participants inquired about scholarships and life in Taiwan.
This event is a recurring fixture on HMPS-PS’s calendar, taking place once every two months. The event concluded with a group photo session with all participants, HMPS-PS officials, and the 3 speakers from Taiwan.
