Universiti Sains Malaysia held the prestigious series of events, “The 17th ISDEV International Islamic Development Management Conference (IDMAC 2023)”, taking place on October 24-25, 2023. This event garnered the interest of researchers and academics from diverse countries to engage in discussion on current issues related to Islamic Fintech and Digital Asset.

One of the presenters at this conference was Dr. Jeihan Ali Azhar, S.Si., M.E.I., a lecturer from the Islamic Banking Study Program FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Dr. Jeihan participated in this conference to present a paper entitled “The Effect of Tax Avoidance and Earnings Management on Corporate Social Responsibility.”

During his presentation, Dr. Jeihan discussed the impact of tax avoidance and earnings management practices on corporate social responsibility. This paper reflects a significant contribution in the context of the development of Islamic Fintech and Digital Asset, two increasingly relevant fields in the global financial landscape.

The conference was attended by prominent researchers from various countries, including Malaysia, Nigeria, Libya, India, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. With this cross-country participation, there is an opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences, and innovative ideas to shape the direction of future research development.

Dr. Jeihan Ali Azhar expressed his pride in contributing to this international forum and hopes that his research findings can provide new insights into the development of Islamic Fintech and Digital Asset. The participation of lecturers from FEBI UIN Sunan Kalijaga is not only a personal achievement but also enriches Indonesia’s academic contribution on the international stage.
