On July 25 - 30, 2023, Mrs. Rifaatul Indana, S.E.I., M.E., a representative from Islamic Banking, held an event aimed at fostering cooperation, socialization, and promotion across three campuses in Turkey. This Foreign Socialization and Promotion Activity in Turkey holds significant importance for facilitating the exchange of foreign students, collaborative research, and collaboration in Islamic Studies. Such initiatives are pivotal in advancing institutions towards becoming world-class universities through enhanced cooperation with higher education institutions abroad, particularly in Turkey, known for its globally esteemed universities.

Indonesia and Turkey have long established mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, particularly in education. UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta aims to actively contribute to the advancement of education, alongside other higher education institutions in Turkey, further strengthening the collaborative efforts between the two nations.

This initiative has garnered appreciation from Marmara University, Istanbul Medeniyet University, and Kocaeli University, all of which have a strong focus on Islamic Studies. They have expressed their support and commitment to actively engage in the programs offered by UIN Sunan Kalijaga, aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills of students from both institutions. It is hoped that these collaborative efforts will yield positive outcomes for the future development of UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
