The Student Association of Islamic Banking Study Program (HMPS-PS) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta held a socialization event for the work program on February 27, 2023. The event took place in the Theatrical Room on the 5th floor of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This initiative aims to promote transparency and inform students of Islamic Banking Study Program about the work program prepared during the previous Work Meeting.

In addition to the socialization, the event featured series of activities. These included the inauguration of the best and favorite members of HMPS-PS for the 2022 period, the inauguration of the 2020, 2021, and 2022 intake representatives, and the launch of the Autonomous Bodies of HMPS-PS, including the Rahayu Theater, the RUMI Research Institute (House of Researchers), and the banking student band group named “Rahayu All Star.” These initiatives were aimed at fostering students’ interest and talent in research and cultural arts.

The event was attended by the Head of the Islamic Banking Study Program, Mrs. Rusipita Rani Pertiwi, and the Vice Dean 3 of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Mr. Ahmad Salehudin. In his address, Mr. Salehudin emphasized the importance of launching autonomous bodies to ensure that students are not only supported in their academic pursuits but also in non-academic aspects. He also expressed appreciation for the inauguration of the best and favorite HMPS-PS 2022 officials, recognizing it as a form of appreciation for their predecessors.

The event was vibrant and bustling. The theatrical room was filled with students from three classes, creating a lively atmosphere. The event concluded with a presentation of the work program by the daily officials and all divisions.
